Given the specialized capital goods and international trade nature of our machinery imports, this policy outlines our transparent guidelines regarding returns, transit claims, defective items, and warranty services.

1. Scope & Nature of B2B Commercial Goods
This policy applies to all commercial capital equipment (Circular Knitting Machines, Shearing, Dyeing, and Textile Machinery) as well as authentic spare parts directly imported and distributed by Tasneem Knitting Industry. All procurement transactions are governed under Incoterms 2020 CFR Chattogram, legally binding Proforma Invoices (PI), and irrevocable Letters of Credit (LC).
Because our heavy industrial machines are custom-engineered and factory-configured to the buyer's exact production specifications (cylinder diameter, gauge, feeder configuration, frame geometry), standard retail consumer 'change-of-mind' return rights do not apply once production commences or delivery is received.
2. Defective Products & Transit Damage Guidelines
Every machine undergoes stringent pre-shipment quality inspection (PSI) at our partner OEM plants in China before maritime dispatch. In the rare event of transit damage or manufacturing non-conformity, our resolution protocol is as follows:
- 7-Day Inspection Window: The buyer must report any maritime transit damage, exterior casing impact, or manufacturing defect within seven (7) business days from the date of physical receipt and uncrating at the buyer factory.
- On-Site Engineering Resolution: Given that multi-ton industrial machinery cannot be trivially re-shipped overseas, our engineering technicians will conduct on-site factory inspection and replace defective components (motors, inverters, lubrication pumps, cam boxes) free of charge rather than requiring the whole machine to be returned.
- Unit Replacement in Unresolvable Defects: If a fundamental structural casting defect is verified by the OEM manufacturer and cannot be rectified by our engineers, a full replacement unit or commercial credit will be issued in accordance with bilateral contract terms.
3. Spare Parts, Needles & Consumables Returns
For modular components and replacement parts (such as knitting needles, sinkers, yarn feeding units, ceramic eyes, transmission belts, and cams) purchased from our Narayanganj BSCIC Hub, the following return guidelines apply:
- Incorrect Part Dispatched: If the item dispatched does not match the approved PO specifications, it may be returned within 7 days in its original unopened packaging for an immediate correct exchange at zero extra cost to the buyer.
- Return Shipping Cost: For defective or erroneously supplied items, return courier costs are borne 100% by Tasneem Knitting Industry. For buyer-requested model exchanges, buyer covers local courier freight.
- Unused Condition: Parts that have already been mounted, run with yarn, oiled, or structurally altered cannot be accepted for refund or restocking.
4. 12-Month Manufacturer Warranty & Technical Support
As an industrial capital goods importer, our primary commitment to your factory's continuous uptime is guaranteed through comprehensive factory warranty and dedicated field engineering:

5. Order Cancellation & Refund Modalities
- Before LC Issuance / Production: If a quotation is cancelled prior to LC transmission or custom fabrication in China, advance security deposits (if any) are refunded via bank transfer within 7-10 working days.
- After Shipment & Bill of Lading (B/L): Once CFR Chittagong shipment has been loaded and Bill of Lading issued, unilateral cancellation is strictly prohibited under Bangladesh Bank Foreign Exchange Guidelines.
- Refund Method: Approved refunds are processed via the original payment method (bank wire or official banking LC amendment). No cash refunds are disbursed.
